The Shell Club size guide
Use our clothing, bag and bottle guides to compare measurements and choose the option that best suits your needs.
Find the right fit
Our size guide is here to make choosing easier. Compare your measurements with the charts below and check individual product pages for any product-specific fit or dimension information.
Where you are between sizes, consider whether you prefer a closer or more relaxed fit.
Clothing
Measure directly over light clothing or underwear. Keep the measuring tape level, close to the body and comfortably relaxed.

Body measurements are a guide. Individual product pages should state whether an item has a slim, regular, relaxed or oversized fit.
How to measure
Use a flexible measuring tape and stand naturally. Avoid pulling the tape tightly or allowing it to hang loosely.
For the most accurate result, ask someone to help you and repeat each measurement.
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and comfortably relaxed.
Measure around your natural waistline without pulling the tape too tightly.
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Measure from the top of the inside leg down to where you would like the garment to finish.
Body size or product size?
Body measurements and finished-garment measurements are not the same. Garments normally include additional room for comfort, movement and the intended silhouette.
These are measurements taken directly around your body and are used to help select a clothing size.
These are measurements of the finished product and may be larger to provide movement, comfort or an intentionally relaxed fit.
Check the individual product page for information such as slim, regular, relaxed, boxy or oversized.
Choose the smaller size for a closer fit or the larger size for a more relaxed feel.
Bags
Compare dimensions, capacity and device compatibility. Product-page measurements should always take priority where a specific model differs from this general guide.
Compact bag
Everyday bag
Travel bag
Laptop screen sizes are measured diagonally and do not always reflect the total device dimensions. Compare your laptop’s full width, height and depth with the internal compartment measurements listed on the product page.
Bottles
Consider how long you will be away from a refill point, the weight you prefer to carry and whether the bottle needs to fit a bag pocket or vehicle cup holder.
12 oz
A lighter option for short journeys, smaller bags and regular refills.
25 oz
A balanced everyday capacity for commuting, work and general use.
32 oz
Greater capacity for longer journeys, exercise and days with fewer refills.

Size guide questions
Product-specific information shown on an individual product page should take priority over this general guide.
Choose the smaller size for a closer fit or the larger size for a more relaxed fit. Check the individual product description because the intended fit may vary.
The main chart shows body measurements. Any finished-garment measurements should be clearly identified on the individual product page.
Compare the full width, height and depth of your laptop with the internal laptop-compartment dimensions shown on the product page. Screen size alone is not always sufficient.
Unless stated otherwise, bag dimensions are normally external. Internal usable space may be slightly smaller because of padding, structure and compartments.
